Edna won the Region for the third season in a row but this time they will be facing Columbus in the State-Semi final round.
Columbus pounds on defenses and runs over offenses. Columbus is a lot like Edna, and that may go in the Cowboys favor as they never could keep up with Franklin’s speed.
Columbus’ lone loss was a one point loss to Hitchcock, who was ranked 1 in 3A_D1 before they lost.
Franklin also had an extremely tough schedule, playing and defeating Cuero, Yoakum, and Hallettsville before defeating Cameron Yoe, Westwood, Yoakum, and Franklin.
