On December 4, President Carolyn Strnadel generously hosted a Christmas Brunch at the Victoria Country Club. Members dined on massive Chef Salads and delicious Chicken Fried Steaks.
After discussing their holiday plans while feasting on the food, all members participated in preparing Christmas cards for 140 of those who call nursing facilities their home across Jackson County. Each card and envelope were gaily decorated and each card was stuffed with a wooden angel ornament.
Instead of exchanging personal gifts with each other in EBLC, members brought every day, but necessary, personal products which would be donated to STCH Ministries – Homes for Families.
Holiday cheer reigned at this final EBLC gathering for 2024.
The first EBLC meeting of 2025 will be held on January 15 at 1.
