There were 242 cows and 26 bulls. The packer market was really good again this week. Cows and bulls sold $4 to $10 higher on average.
Even with the Commodity Board down on Friday, the calf market continues to be strong and steady. Some classes sold $10 - $30 on average higher than our previous sale.
The average calf price was $1,511 per head.
