JCRSP enjoy bingo & baskets
A popular quote often seen concerning Bingo playing states “Support Bingo – Keep Grandma off the Streets.” While the statement is spoken tonguein- cheek, one cannot deny that retirees certainly find the game of chance entertaining. With that thought in mind, Jackson County Retired School Personnel invites all educational retirees to join the group on March 24, 2025, at 11 a.m. for a lively session of Bingo at the group’s next meeting.
Prior to the fun, a catered lunch will be served at the Texana Community Educational Center, 344 Park Road 2. RSVP to Kathy Johnson at 361-7814004 by March 20, 2025. Attending as a special guest will be District 3 TRTA President Joni Barber who will provide news of widespread interest to retirees. Pat Shoemate will give an invocation, and Martha Theiss will lead the pledges.
In addition to the annual Bingo game, JCRSP has traditionally prepared gift crates of snacks and goodies to present to the county’s three school districts. Each school, maintenance and administration facility will be awarded a filled appreciation basket to show that retired educators remember and support all their efforts. Therefore, plan to bring donated items for this service project to the March meeting where the “filling” will occur.
