There were 218 cows, 31 bulls, and two goats. The packer cow and bull market was steady with last week’s prices. The calf market was a mixed bag this week. With the commodity board down rather than hard on Thursday and Friday, the new crop calves were quite a bit lower than the yearlings and conditioned cattle. The demand is still strong.
