Jackson County Ministerial Alliance to hold prayer Vigil

In light of recent tragedies in the county, the Jackson County Ministerial Alliance will hold a Community Prayer Service on Sunday, Feb. 18 at 2 p.m. on the courthouse lawn.

“We are calling on God to protect and encourage the residents of our community and Jackson County,” Rev. Michel Yonts of the Edna Evangelical Presbyterian Church said. “We invite all members of the community to join us in this time of prayer.”

Yonts is president of the Ministerial Alliance. 

Other participating pastors include Rev. Adam Knapp of First United Methodist Church, Edna; Rev. Daniel Knapp of Lolita United Methodist Church, Edna; Rev. Robert Krause of First Baptist Church, Edna; and Rev. Scott Talbert of First Baptist Church, Lolita.
