Murder suspect will be brought back to county

Quincy Muhammed Wright, the man suspected of shooting and killing Edna resdent James Barrios, was arrested on Jan. 18 in Houston.
On November 26, 2017, Edna police responded to a shooting at the Cottonwood apartments. When they arrived, they found James Barrios had died from a gunshot. Quincy Muhammed Wright was the suspected shooter and a manhunt began immediately.
“The quick and diligent work from Edna Police investigators led to an arrest warrant being issued for 40-year-old Quincy Wright from Houston,” the U.S. Marshals Service said in a released statement.
