The City of Ganado welcomed a new officer on August 13 when Pedro “Pete” Fernando Palomino-Reynoso joined the Ganado Police Department. Although Palomino-Reynoso is new to the Ganado police force, it is not his first job as an officer.
“This is my third agency as a peace officer,” Palomino-Reynoso said. “I was at the sheriff’s office in Lockhart, and then I have been at Port Comfort the last year and 10 months and now I am here.”
“I came to the U.S. from Mexico at 15 years old and I got my citizenship when I was in Iraq as a member of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003,” Palomino-Reynoso continued. “After I left the military in ‘06, I decided I was going to be a peace officer.”
