Thrift Store closing

    Over the last two years, the Jackson County Senior Center has gone through a lot of turmoil, but Friends of Elder Citizens Director Julia Gonzales is making some changes in an attempt to keep things running smoothly while she is at the helm. So for now, they are closing down the Second Chance Thrift Store.

    “The Friends of Elder Citizens board and I met and after several months of looking at stats, the board decided to do away with the thrift shop,” Gonzales said. “We are closing it down as of the end of this month."
