Traffic alert: FM 822 Roadway Restoration

As part of the Tx DOT’s roadway restoration project on FM 822 (N. Allen St., W. Ash St., and Navidad St.) from SL 521 to CR 112, Brannan Paving Co., Ltd. will begin milling and paving operations on Monday, June 20.
Between SL 521 (W. Main St.) and US 59, the roadway will be milled and resurfaced with hot mix asphalt pavement. After completion of this section, the contractor will rehabilitate the remaining FM 822 roadway from US 59 to CR 112.
One lane, two-way traffic control with flaggers will be utilized while construction operations take place.
This project was awarded to Brannan Paving Co., Ltd. with a total project cost of $3, 029, 884.41. Construction should be complete in September 2022.
