Ganado Majors Softball one Win away from State Tournament

After falling into the losers side of the Sectional Bracket, the Ganado Majors softball team was faced with a "win or go home" situation. They won, beating Sinton by a score of 8-2 on Saturday, to earn a spot in the Championship game. But, since they already had a loss, they would have to beat Tidehaven in two straight games to advance. Their one loss was a 7-6 loss to Tidehaven in the second game of tournament play, so they got their revenge in the first championship game, winning 7-1.

Tonight Ganado will play Tidehaven again, and the winner will move on to the State Tournament.
