Michael "Shane" Mabry

    Michael "Shane" Mabry of Edna, Texas passed away from our earthly world to the Heavenly Realm on Friday, Sept. 1, 2017.  He was born in Cuero to Caroline Valenta Kizer on Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1976. A graduate of Edna High School, Shane was a "jack of all trades and master of most".  A loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend to many, he never met a stranger and would be the first to help anyone in need.    Shane is survived by his daughter Mykah Skye Mabry; mother Caroline Kizer of Edna; brother Craig Mabry (Sylvia) of Edna; sisters, Veronica Crabb and (Randy) of Edna, Cynthia Airhart  (Bruce) of Edna, Suzanne Zapata (Mark Robert) of Bandera, Jaime Liepe of Edna; numerous nieces and nephews, and many, many friends.    Shane is preceded in death by his brother David Wayne Mabry, and his grandparents Rudy and Albina Valenta.    In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Gulf Bend MHMR 6502 Nursery Dr., Suite 100, Victoria, TX  77904, or Jackson County Happy Tails Animal Shelter, P.O.Box 1305, Edna, TX  77957, or by using PayPal using the email; jcshelter@yahoo.com.    Memorial service will be held at a later date to be determined by the family.       Services have been entrusted to Russell Todish of Slavik Funeral Home, 361-782-2152.
