Looking for less than five

Edna volleyball is experiencing some growing pains, but they’re coming along nicely in district play. Last week, the Cowgirls won their games against Palacios and Boling in five, which is good, but Head Coach Lynn Osborne said the win should be three and done.
“It’s the little things that amount to bigger mistakes: they were being quiet and their feet were sluggish today,” Osborne said in the game against Boling. “But, hey, I’ll take the two wins.”
She went on to say the team has had some stellar practices in recent weeks, but it doesn’t seem to transfer from practice to game, and as a coach, it’s rough for her to watch.
