Edna vs Yoakum recap

Edna kicked off to Yoakum and they returned to the 43 yard line. The Bulldogs put together a  5 play drive to score their first touchdown with 9:51 left in the 1st quarter. Edna was unable to produce and was forced to punt putting Yoakum at the 20 yard line. The Bulldogs then capitalized on a 75 yard touchdown with 6:46 left in the 1st quarter.

  The Cowboys are unable to put points on the board leaving the score 14 - 0 at the end of the 1st quarter.

Edna came out strong in the 2nd quarter scoring their first touchdown with 10:54 left.

 Yoakum returned the kick off to the 40 yard line and is unable to put together any drives. Yoakum punts to the 18 yard line and after 6 plays Cowboys are unable to produce. Edna is forced to punt but recovers it at the 16 yard line. Cowboys are unable to score and Bulldogs take possession of the ball at the 25 yard line. Yoakum was able to put together 6 plays to score a touchdown ending the first half Yoakum Bulldogs 21 - Edna Cowboys 7

 Starting the third quarter, Yoakum kicked off to Edna at the 46 yard line. Edna puts 12 plays together to get into field goal range and kick a field goal. Bulldogs 21 - Cowboys 10 with 2:58 left in the 3rd quarter. Bulldogs start with the ball at the 29 yard line. Yoakum is able to put together 11 plays to score a touchdown. Bulldogs 28 - Cowboys 10 end of the 3rd quarter.

Both teams came out strong in the fourth quarter and managed to hold each other. Final score Yoakum Bulldogs 28 - Edna Cowboys 10.
