Edna vs Palacios recap

  The Edna Cowboys came out strong in the first quarter with Kenny Haynes scoring his first touchdown of the night with 7:43 left in the first quarter.

  Palacios immediately followed up with a touchdown of their own, which brought the score to Edna 7 and Palacios 7.

  Cowboy Kenny Haynes bit back with a 70 yard touchdown run, which brought the score to 13 - 7 Edna at the end of the first quarter. 

 Just under a minute into the second quarter Haynes rushed in another touchdown to bring the score to Cowboys 20 - Sharks 7.

  Dayton McCoy made his presence felt when he scored a touchdown with 3:40 left in the second. Edna 27 - Sharks 7.

  The Sharks fumbled the ball around the 20 yard line and allowed Cowboy Thomas Long to run in his first touchdown of the night.

  With 35 seconds left before the half Kenny Haynes grabbed another touchdown and Edna lead Palacios 41-7 at halftime. 

  After the half, Long scored his second touchdown of the night with 7:03 left in the third quarter which made the score Edna 48 and Palacios 7 at the end of the third quarter.

With only 1:55 left in the fourth quarter, Edna’s Deleon Mitchell scored a touchdown. The Cowboys managed to hold the Sharks from scoring the rest of the night and finished with a score of Edna 55 and Palacios 7.
