Slump no more

Head Coach Ieasha Lee said the Cowgirls’ (2-3) win against Tidehaven (2-3) last Friday was a win they needed. The score for the 49-32 win was close early in the game, but a strong third quarter after the locker room was just the push they needed, according to Lee.
“We’ve been in a slump, or a funk, since Christmas,” she said. “Lots of things, on and off the court, have come into play, but I finally saw the Cowgirls return. I’m happy for them and I hope they felt good with the win today. We needed something to go our way.”
