John Hults

    John Corbin Hults, 52 of Colorado City, Texas and formerly of Edna, passed away on Jan.27, 2018. The son of Dr. Richard I. Hults and Dick and Loneta Koop, John was born on Dec. 19, 1965 in Baltimore, Maryland.       John graduated from Edna High School in 1984, attended Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas from 1984-1985, and then proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1986-1989. Upon his honorable discharge from the Army, John came back to Texas and pursued a career in construction and carpentry. John was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing, stargazing and sitting around the campfire telling tall tales!     John was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Richard I. Hults.       He is survived by parents Loneta and Dick Koop of Edna; his sisters Nicole Jameson (Mark) of Southlake, Texas, Kim Hults Chandler (Willie), Leslie Hults Miller (Steven), Meghan Hults Chiles (Russ) all of Edna, Lesley Koop of Port Alto, Jinnifer Koger (Phillip) of Austin, Wiede Cutshall (Jon) of San Antonio, Shirley Moyer of Davie, Fla., and Linda Beth Moyer (Adam) of Chestertown, Md., and numerous nieces and nephews.       A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
