Shooting one arrow at a time

In early March Bryce Wilfert ran in a junior high track meet representing Industrial, then took a trip to Texas A&M in College Station and broke the 2017 record when he won the 2018 Junior Olympic National Indoor 18m round Barebow Champion.
The 2017 record holder wasn’t too upset though…because it was him.
“Every night, last thing I do, say a prayer: God, please, just help me get through the next day, one more arrow at a time,” he said. “I look at any tournament as just another tournament.”
Bryce, 14, an eighth grade Rattler, has been competing in archery for the La Ward 4-H Club this year as a high school senior against actual high school seniors and coming out on top.
