If you are looking for something to do during Spring Break, the Brackenridge Recreation Complex will host numerous events.
The BRC will have a Movie Under the Stars March 17 starting between 7:30 and 8 p.m. The movie has free admission but bring your own lawn chairs and blankets. Popcorn, drinks, and snacks are available for purchase from the BRC concession stand. Movie night will be held in the open field in front of the Hafernick Center.
“Our free movie nights have become quite popular with our park guests as well as the community,” BRC Recreation Manager Cammie Pearson said. “It’s a nice opportunity for families and friends to gather in an outdoor setting and watch a family movie. We hope to see lots of familiar faces there.”
The Texana Park Nature Center will also be involved in the Spring Break fun. For $5 per vehicle, there are numerous fun and educational activities:
Wednesday-10 a.m. Birds of a Feather and 1 p.m. at the Brackenridge Pavilion; Birds of a Feather, 3 p.m. Make-a-bird
