Adriana Martinez Dodson

    Adriana Martinez Dodson, 30, of Edna, passed away on March 11, 2018. She was born on July 7, 1987 to Jose and Margarita Martinez of Houston.     Adriana was in the ROTC in Reagan High School in Houston. She was commander of her unit and the first female to win the national ROTC competition. She was a teacher at Edna Junior High School.     She is preceded in death by her grandmother D. Aguilar.     Adriana is survived by her parents; husband Marcus Dodson; sons Dorian and Conner; brother Louis Martinez; sisters Barbara Cortez, Jessie Salas, Emma Viaguos, and Cindy Martinez.     A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 31 at First Baptist Church, Edna.     In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Adriana Dodson Memorial Fund, New First National Bank, PO Box 670, Edna, TX 77957.
