Hazel Wake

Mrs. Hazel Ethel Wake, 81, of Pittsburg, Texas was born June 12, 1936 in Edna, to G. A. Quinn and Elizabeth Johns Quinn and passed away on April 11, 2018 in Pittsburg.     She was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Pittsburg.     Mrs. Wake is survived by her husband, Norbert N. Wake of Pittsburg; sons, Norbert Wake, Jr. and wife Patty of Melissa, Texas, Randy Wake and wife Carla of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, and Louis Wake and wife Cheryl of Sulphur Springs, Texas; daughters, Karen Mills and husband Matthew of Dallas, Texas and Elaine Burks and husband Michael of The Woodlands, Texas; 14 grandchildren, Amy Varley, Michael Wake, Rachael Goree, Raven Kirkland, Morgan Mills, Mallory Mills, Shannon Milliorn, Randall Wake, Megan Upton, Nathan Wake, Michael Burks, Jacob Burks, Maddie Mills, and Alex Burks; 7 great-grandchildren, Brayden and Landyn Kirkland, Emma and Steven Goree, Mackenna and Mason Milliorn, and Lilliana Upton; brother, Obanion Quinn of Edna, and sister, Wanda Acheson of Bay City.     She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Elizabeth Bayer of Floresville and brother Troy Quinn of Edna.     Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Saturday, April 14, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Pittsburg with entombment followed at 12:30 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Longview.     In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
