David Kulow

David Lee Kulow passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018. David was born in Jackson County on Friday, February 16, 1940 to Nora W. Kulow. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church of Edna. David spent most of his life on a farm where he loved to work in the garden and take care of his chickens, turkeys, ducks and guineas.     After his mother passed away he moved to Southbrooke Manor Nursing Home where he spent the rest of his life. David loved the staff and always had a smile for the staff and visitors.     David was an only child and is survived by numerous cousins and second cousins.     Visitation was Saturday, June 2, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Slavik Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services were Sunday, June 3, at 3 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Edna with the Rev. Andrew Schroer officiating. Interment followed at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Edna.         In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Redeemer Victoria Mission building fund.     Services have been entrusted to Russell Todish of Slavik Funeral Home, Edna, 361-782-2152.
