Elaine Petrash

    Elaine Josephine Grieve Petrash, 85, of Sugarland passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018 in Ganado, Texas.     She was born on Tuesday, July 11, 1933 in Praha, Texas to Emil Greive and Bertha Vyviala Greive.       Elaine is survived by her extended family, brother and sister-in-law Allen and JoAnn Petrash, nephews, Mike, Pat and Kevin Petrash, Gary Greive, Jimmy and Raymond Frieda, and her niece Melanie Petrash, also numerous grand nephews and nieces.     She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bennie F. Petrash, brother Edwin Greive, and sister Isabella Frieda.       There was a service on Monday, August 13, beginning at 9:30 a.m. with a Rosary and followed by Mass at 10 a.m. at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Praha, Texas with Father Ty officiating and interment to follow.       Services have been under the direction of Russell Todish of Ganado Funeral Home, 361-771-2120.
