Patsy Latimer

Patsy Jean Latimer, 76, of Edna, passed away on January 5, 2019. She was born on December 23, 1942, in Cuero, Texas, to the late Henry Dittert, Sr. and Pearl E. Dittert.     Patsy is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Robert Lee Latimer, Sr.; daughters, Debbie Michelle Myers and her husband Stanley, Cindy Kaye Kainer and her husband Darryl; son, Robert Lee Latimer, Jr. and his wife Leah; sister, Peggy Vickery and her husband Lonnie; sister in law, Katherine Webel; brother, Dr. Henry M. Dittert, Jr. and his wife Jeanette; brother in laws, Donald Latimer and his wife Mary Ann, Roy Latimer and his wife Susie, Walter Latimer and his wife Kyla, and Ronnie Latimer and his wife Brenda; grandchildren, Jacob (Rachel) Latimer, Stan (Brianna) Myers, Ashley Myers, Jared Latimer, Landon Myers, Cody Kainer, Colton Kainer, and Kadie Kainer; great-grandchildren, Grant Myers, Jackson Latimer, and Isaiah Latimer.       Along with her parents, Patsy is preceded in death by her brother Hugo Dittert (Shirley) and sister in law Elizabeth Gayle.     Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 10, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the funeral service to begin at 1 p.m., all in the Oaklawn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Bischoff Cemetery in Inez. Rev. Kelli Williamson will be officiating.       Pallbearers are Jacob Lee Latimer, Stan Bruce Myers, II., Jared Luke Latimer, Landon Cole Myers, Colton Kainer, and Cody Kainer. Honorary pallbearers are Ashley Nicole Myers and Kadie Page Kainer.     Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church 216 W. Main, Edna, Texas 77957, or donor’s choice.     Arrangements are under the direction of Oaklawn Funeral Home in Edna 361-782-2221.
