Sheriff meets with Trump

On January 11 Jackson County Sheriff Andy “A.J.” Louderback, along with other state, local and community leaders, had the opportunity to sit down at a roundtable discussion with President Donald Trump.
The president made a trip to the McAllen area to talk to locals about how the crisis at the border is negatively impacting communities across our nation.
“For over a decade we have been fighting this every single day,” Louderback said to the President. “Let me address the word ‘manufactured’ that we keep hearing.
"It is very demeaning to law enforcement. It is extremely distressing to have to listen to the rhetoric about manufactured crises when we have been fighting this every day. It affects every law enforcement agency in the United States.”
