Roosevelt Allen

    Roosevelt Allen, 62,  passed away on Mar. 14, 2019. He was born May 2, 1956 to Rev. George Allen and Esdell Griffin Allen in Ganado.     He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Louis and Loyal Allen.     To cherish his memory he leaves his companion, Rita Robinson; daughters, Clatoria Barnes and Kayla Callis; sons, Steve Green and Christopher Chambers Allen; brothers, LaSalle, George, and Floyd Allen; "Little Sister", Youlonda Allen; eight grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.     Visitation will be held 4-8 p.m., Friday, Mar. 22,  at Cook-Butler Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at Scruggs United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Ganado Community Cemetery.     Final arrangements entrusted to Cook-Butler Funeral Home 361-782-3821.
