Royce McBride

    Royce McBride, 48, of Lolita, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019. He was born on August 7, 1970 in Dallas to A.W. and Virginia McBride.     Royce served his country during Desert Storm with the U.S. navy from April 1991 to March 1997.     Royce is survived by his daughter, Alysa McBride, mother, Virginia McBride, brother, Jason McBride and-sister in-law Jackie; niece Shelby McBride and nephews, Brandon and Andy Davis; also his dear friend and Alysa’s mother, Carole Arnold.     He is preceded in death by his father, A.W. McBride.         There will be a celebration of Royce’s life on Friday, March 29 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Lolita with Pastor Gary Thedford officiating.     Honorary pallbearers are Steven Dacke, Mary Schoonover Greer, Ken Goppert, and Johnny Henderson.     Services have been entrusted to Russell Todish of Slavik Funeral Home, Edna, 361-782-2152.
