Winona Flanagan Storz

Winona Flanagan Storz, of Mesquite, to join our Lord in Heaven, on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at the age of 81. She was born on September 20,1937, to the late Oba Dell Flanagan and Clifford Parker Flanagan.       Winona, also known as Nona, was retired and spent most days painting away. She was fond of south western art and developed a passion for painting portraits. She especially liked painting portaits of her family.     She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend who will be missed dearly. She is survived by her children, George Carl Storz, Timothy Michael Storz and Cathy Elaine Olsen; her seven grandchildren, along with 5 great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.     Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 11, at 2 p.m., at the Arbor in Memory Gardens of Edna Cemetary.     In lieu of sending flower donations please donate to the Mesquite Arts Council in her name, Winona Storz.
