Deloris Marie Stovall Hurd

Deloris Marie Stovall Hurd, 72, of Edna, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019. She was born on July 13, 1946 in Corpus Christi to the late Deacon Alvin Stovall and Dicie W. Stovall.     She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Rev. Curtis L. Hurd Jr., son Christopher A. Parson, brother Alvin J. Stovall, and sister Verdie M. Butler McGrew.     She is survived by her daughters, Serelder Hopes of Edna, Lizzie Huff of Edna; sons Karvin Ayers of Edna and Jayfus Smith of Victoria; sister Verna Lee Butler of Edna; 27 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews, and relatives.     Funeral services are at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 18 at Shiloh Baptist Church in Edna.     Arrangements under the direction of Cook-Butler Funeral Home, Edna.
