Acie Jones

    Acie Jones Jr., 69, passed away on October 15, 2019. He was born January 21, 1950 in Edna, to Acie Jones Sr. and Arnell Green Jones. Acie served in the US Navy and after completing his service, was a mail carrier for the US Postal Service.     

He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Rosie Marie Williams.     

To cherish his memory, he leaves his sons, Acie Jones, III and Marcus Chalks; step-daughter, Shaunette Hecker; brothers A.B. and Odis L. Jones; three grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.   Visitation will be 5-7 PM Friday, October 25, 2019 at Cook-Butler Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 11 am Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Scruggs Methodist Church  with burial to follow at Kerr Cemetery.
