Marcus "Mark" Leslie Menefee

    Marcus (Mark) Leslie Menefee passed away on November 28, 2019 at the age of 68 surrounded by his family. Mark was  born July 18, 1951 in Victoria, Texas.     

Mark was a kind and loving brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He had many interests. He enjoyed spending time with family, researching family genealogy, antiquing and the arts. He graduated from Edna High School, honorably served in the United States Army and then went on to graduate from Texas A&I University. He retired from Inteplast after a 25-year career in March, 2019.     

Mark is survived by his sisters, Patty Menefee O’Connor of Pearland; Cindy Menefee Kruppa (Mark) of Cape Carancahua and brother Michael Menefee (Shelley) of Port Alto, nieces, nephews and cousins.         

He is preceded in death by his father George Ernest “Buddy” Menefee and step-mother Ruth Mays Menefee; mother Melba Hughes Koym; brother George E. Menefee III and his niece Jamie Lynn Sorensen.     

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on December 14 at 2 p.m. at The Sanctuary in Edna.
