Juan "Johnny" Sanchez

    Juan “Johnny” Z. Sanchez, of Lolita passed away on Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020, at the age of 54. He was born in Ganado on Oct. 26, 1965, to Pedro J. Sanchez of La Ward and the late Olivia Zuniga Sanchez.     Johnny is survived by his father; stepsons, David, Mark, Matthew, and Jacoby Bussell; sisters, Juanita Williams, Mary Gutierres (Ismael), Cleo Sanchez, and Delores Sanchez; brothers, Noe Sanchez (Barbara), Rev. Eutimio Sanchez (Angelica), Javier Sanchez (Maria), Albert Sanchez (Eva), Nathaniel Sanchez, Ruben Sanchez (Tina), and Joe Sanchez (Emma); and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.     Johnny is preceded in death by his mother and his brother, Pedro Sanchez Jr.     Visitation was Friday, March 6, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Oaklawn Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service was at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, at the First United Methodist Church of Edna.     Pallbearers were Noe Sanchez Jr., Javier Sanchez Jr., Tim Sanchez Jr., Ismael Gutierres Jr., Braeden Sanchez, Joey Sanchez Jr., Joseph Sanchez, and David Bussell.     Arrangements are under the direction of Oaklawn Funeral Home in Edna, 361-782-2221.
