David DeWayne Bartels

David DeWayne Bartels, 66 of Edna passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020. He was born in McGregor, Texas to Clarence "Red" and Janet Bartels on September 2, 1954.     A visitation and funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21, at Lolita Baptist Church, with interment following at Memory Gardens of Edna.     

David is survived by his loving family, wife JoAnn, daughters Misty and Pamela, and son Gary Garbs.     

He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister Linda Mier.       

Services are under the guidance of Slavik Funeral Home.
