Paul Judson McFarland
Paul Judson McFarland, age 52, went to be with the Lord on September 5, 2021. He was born on October 2nd, 1968.
He was a man of God with the desire that everyone come to know Jesus Christ as their personal savior. He was a wonderful father to his daughter Abigail and spent a lot of quality time with her as he worked from home as an extremely successful salesperson, recently promoted to account manager for Omaha Steaks.
He helped with Abby’s homeschooling and encouraged her love of music, playing the electric guitar and keyboard while watching and listening to music together.
Abigail truly takes after her father when it comes to creativity and passion for things loved...and his mischievousness too! He was also an amazing husband to his wife Judith, truly her best friend as he spent all of his off time with her and Abby watching movies and sitting in the backyard grilling and listening to music together while talking about everything. He loved to grill and succeeded in perfecting his grilling whether it was brisket, steak, chicken, ribs and everything in between. He was also a great playwright, enjoyed being around the water and serving in his Church, 1st Baptist Church of Ganado. There was never a dull moment when he was around. He is and will forever be deeply missed.
He served in the US Navy and was based in many places, including Puerto Rico, where he developed lasting friendships with families there. He was born in Fort Worth, TX and lived in Willcox and Tucson, AZ, Round Rock, TX, El Paso, TX and Edna, TX. He attended Eastern AZ College and Victoria College. A true Texan (and yes, a little bit of Arizona :) and Patriot through and through.
When he was younger, he played little league, pop warner football, and soccer. In high school he played football, was a wrestler, and was involved in track and field. He graduated from Sabino High School in Arizona. He played college football at Eastern Arizona. He was also very involved in college theater. He also earned his stripes as a professional wrestler and received a certificate for completing the Shawn Michaels Wrestling Academy and went on to wrestle at different venues.
Paul is survived by his wife, Judith McFarland, his daughter, Abigail McFarland and his mother Linda McFarland. His father was the late Rev. William McFarland. ~For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:16-17~
~The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death. Isaiah 57:1-2~
~Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Isaiah 55:6
