Humberto R. Serna

     Humberto R. Serna, of Victoria, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at the age of 65. He was born in Ganado, Texas on October 29, 1957, to the late Ramon R. Serna and Elizabeth Rodriguez.

     Humberto was a loving husband, stepfather, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed.

     Humberto is survived by his wife Gloria of 41 years; stepsons, Michael Guajardo and Ray Guajardo, Jr; stepdaughters, Lisa Villarreal, and Jeannie Martinez; along with 9 grandchildren, and 13 great- grandchildren.

     He is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Olga Hernandez.

     Pallbearers will be Ramon Serna, Jr., Gerardo Serna, Jimmy Garcia, Emilio Garcia, Lee Martinez, and Marvin Tobola. Honorary Pallbearers are Humberto’s nephews.

     Visitation will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. with the celebration of life beginning at 9 a.m. all in the Oaklawn Funeral Home Chapel in Edna.

     In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Oaklawn Funeral Home to defray funeral expenses.
