Steven Lee Smith

     Steven Lee Smith, of Richmond, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 29, 2023,

at the age of 62. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 22, 1961, to the late Sherman Lee Smith and Donna Belle Bromley.

     Steven was a loving brother and friend who will be dearly missed.

     Steven is survived by his sister, Debra Sue Smith Balizan of Ganado, Texas and Brother, Anthony Lee Smith of Virginia; Brother- in- law Victor Balizan of Ganado, Texas with Nieces, Tanya Mizelle, and Leeann Shugart; Nephews, Sherman Balizan, and Jacob Balizan.

     He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Douglas B. Smith.

     Pallbearers were Sherman D. Balizan, Jacob R. Balizan, Brian Martin, David Rose, Jerrel Edwards, Tony Kirby.

     Visitation was held on September 4, 2023, at 9 a.m. in the Oaklawn Funeral Home Chapel.

     The funeral service was held on September 4, 2023, at 10 a.m. also in the Oaklawn Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Joe McClanahan officiated.

     In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ganado Nursing and Rehabilitation.
