Dietrich “Dickie” Koop

Dietrich “Dickie” William Koop, of Edna, peacefully passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024. Dickie was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was born on November 14, 1934 in his hometown of Edna to proud parents who instilled in him the values of hard work and compassion.   Dickie’s life was one marked  by unwavering faith and dedication to serving his community.  

Dickie was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold Fred and Anita W. Koop, sister Anita Louise Koop and son John Corbin Hults.

He is survived by his loving wife Loneta Koop, daughters, Lesley Koop, Jennifer Koger (Philip), Wiede Cutshall (Jon), Shirley Bononi (Mark), Linda Beth Moyer (Kenton), Nicole Jameson (Mark), Kim Chandler (Willie), Leslie Miller (Steven) and many much loved grandchildren and great grandchildren.  

Visitation will be Friday April 19, 2024 from 1-3pm with the funeral service starting at 3pm at Edna Presbyterian Church.  Interment to follow at Red Bluff Cemetery.
