John M. Hasserodt

     John M. Hasserodt left to be with his heavenly father on June 16, 2024. John was born July 25, 1946 to Louise Friedrich and John Hasserodt in El Campo, Tx.

     John loved to fish and sit in the yard to visit with anyone that came by.

     John leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Jamie of Vanderbilt, Tx; his children: Irene Todd of Francitas, Joyce Peck (Gerald) of Vanderbilt, Thomas Hasserodt (Sharlyn) of Portland, Tx., Elizabeth Henderson (Shawn) of Vanderbilt, and Wanda (Kenny) of Ganado, Johnny Hasserodt (Joshua) of Rockport, Tx., Travis Hasserodt  (Holli) of New Braunsfels; step children James Dufner, Jenniffer Bermea (Ed) and Jessie Kelley (Rennie).

     John had 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

     Preceding him in death are his parents, sisters Magalin Bragg, and Bertha Furhman and Mildred Pounders and his first wife Wanda Ellis.

     A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 5 at Vanderbilt Baptist Church at 5 p.m.
