Charles worked in the oil and gas industry and was an initial investor in Beloved Community Care. He was known for his kind heart, fearless spirit, and unwavering love for his family. He lived life on the wild side, embracing every adventure that came his way. But above all, his greatest joy in life was his son, Cole Lopez, whom he loved dearly.

(Abraham Gonzales); his grandfather, Jesse Lopez; his sisters, Candace Hernandez and Cassandra Lopez Bryant; his nieces, Kailyn, Kynlei, Laiya, and Chadsidy; his nephews, Julius and Khylon; his greatniece, Acelani; and his soon-to-arrive great-nephew, Jrue. He also leaves behind numerous cousins, extended family, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Margie and Manuel Zambrano; his grandfather, Lucio Hernandez; and his grandmother, Janie Lopez.
Services for Charles Lopez will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, in the Oaklawn Funeral Home Chapel, with a Rosary to be recited from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., followed by the Funeral Service at 3 p.m.
Though Charles’ time on this earth was far too short, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
His laughter, generosity, and adventurous soul will never be forgotten.
