Missy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who will be missed dearly. She adored watching her grandchildren in their activities most. They will always be “Memi’s little darlings.” She loved spending time with family, playing cards with loved ones, being near the water, antiquing, going to estate and garage sales & hitting the casinos.
Missy is survived by her beloved son Chad Slusher and wife Marlissa, beloved son Brandon Slusher and wife Chelsea, precious grandchildren, Ryland, Mason, Rhett & Kylee Slusher. Sisters, Cheryll Gregory (George), Danna Miller (Steve), Nancy Kubecka, brothers, Randy Crabb (Dee), Ben Crabb, Mike Crabb (Rebecca), & brother-in-law Allen Salge. Along with many lifelong friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents H.M. Crabb, Shirley Crabb, and sister Donna Crabb Salge.
Pallbearers are nephews Jeremy & Colby Bazan, Bj Bures, Blaine & Keaton Crabb, Jake Gregory, & Cody & Coley Salge.
Honorary Pallbearers are Mark Bundren, Clay Clark, Derek Cook, Cory Ellison, Adam Epperson, Chad Ferguson, George Gregory, Josh Hase, Taylor Huse, Steve Miller, Allen Salge, Shane Salge and Randy Wayne Crabb.
A visitation for Melissa was held on Friday, March 28, 2025, in the Oaklawn Funeral Home Chapel from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Funeral Service was held on Saturday March 29, 2025, at 2 p.m. also in the Oaklawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Andy Schorer officiating.
Burial followed in the Memory Gardens of Edna Cemetery.
