James F. (Frank) Browne, Sr. February 16, 1944 — April 9, 2025,

Frank’s greatest love was his wife, Pat, whom he married on January 30, 1965. Their 60-year partnership was a true testament to enduring love.
Together, they raised two children, Donna and James Jr. (Jamey). They were blessed with grandchildren Corbin, Aaron, Trevor, Sarah, and Emma and four great grandsons, and a great-granddaughter on the way.
Beginning his career in the oilfields, Frank later achieved a master’s degree in social work from the University of Houston. He worked as a counselor and touched many lives before retirement. Frank was a man of many passions and loved his family and friends, hunting, fishing, and the congregation at Robinson Street Church of Christ.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, James E.(Jenkie) and Bettye and his nephew, Zack. He leaves behind a legacy of love with his wife Pat, children Donna and her husband Scott and Jamey and his wife Kathryn, brothers Mike (Tracye) and Tim (Kay) and an extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Frank’s life was a beacon of kindness and strength.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday April 26, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the Slavik Funeral Home chapel. Services are entrusted to the Todish family of Slavik & Ganado Funeral Homes.
