Angel Delgado

Angel Delgado, age 92 of Edna, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017. He was born July 25, 1924 in Mexico. He worked as a ranch hand for most of his life. Then he worked for the Industrial Independent School District for over 20 years where he later retired from. He is survived by his son, Gilbert Delgado of Inez; one grandchild, and one great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Guzman Delgado. Visitation was March 14 followed by a service at Artero Memorial Chapels in Port Lavaca. Burial followed at Port Lavaca Cemetery. Pallbearers were great-grandson, Logan Delgado, nephew, Porfirio Ybarra, nephew, Jose Guzman, Jr., nephew, Augustine Guzman, Jr., co-worker, Lupe Lopez, and Gilbert's best friend, Albert Sifuentes. Arrangements under the direction of Artero Memorial Chapels, Port Lavaca, 361- 552-2300.
