Charles Edwin Dacke

Charles Edwin Dacke, 81 of Lolita TX., passed away at his home on November 30, 2018. “Charlie” to his friends, was born September 2, 1937 to Elmer Bruce Dacke and Annie Frances Burford Dacke in West Columba TX.     Charlie preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife of 52 years; Peggy Carol Huff Dacke, brothers; Harold, Bruce, Wayne, and Leslie, sisters Montie and Annabelle, and sons Casey Charles and Kent Mitchell. He is survived by a sister; Joyce Dacke, and sons; David Gary and Steven Dwayne, five granddaughters, and numerous nieces and nephews.     Charles was a retired welder and still enjoyed welding projects, gardening, restoring Farmall tractors, and fishing, especially catfishing. Some of his fondest memories were with his family “caravanning” across the state and country with thier travel trailers. In lieu of flowers, the family request that a memorial contribution be made to Prostate Cancer Research Institute at: www. secure.pcri. org to make a donation on line in honor of Charles Dacke. There will be visitation on Tuesday, December 4 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Slavik~Edna Funeral Home Chapel. With a Graveside Service on Wednesday, December 5 at 10 a.m. at Red Bluff Cemetery in Lolita. Pecha Henry Pecha, 80, of Markham, formerly of Ganado, was called to the Lord Saturday, December 1, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Henry is survived by his wife Joyce, daughter Shari Vega and her husband Kelly, son; Robert, step-daughters: Debi Edwards and her husband Robert, and Dawn Fletcher, grandchildren: Anthony Gerdes, Jeremy Gerdes, great-grandchildren: Cole, Khriztian, and Aftyn, sisters: Irene Herreth, Evelyn Bures, and brother Sydney Pecha. Henry has been preceded in death by this parents; Anton and Lydia Pecha, wife Bernice, son; James, and sister Lillian. There will be a Visitation on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ganado Funeral  Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at Ganado Funeral Home Chapel, followed by interment at Assumption Catholic Cemetery.
