Donald Lee Whittley

Donald Lee Whittley, of Edna, Texas, went to be with the Lord on May 22, 2019 at the age of 56.     Donald aka “Cat Daddy” loved to fish and run his trout lines (aka “drop the lake level”), hunt deer and hogs. He had a passion for woodworking and would assure that it wouldn’t blow away. Donald most of all loved his kids and grandkids; he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend that will always be missed.     Donald is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kim Ruppert Whittley; his sons, Shane Whittley (Brandy), Buck Whittley (Erin), and Nathan Whittley (Megan); his grandchildren, Brynlee Whittley, Conner Whittley, Kaybree Whittley, Kyla Whittley, Clayton Whittley, and Katelynn Whittley; his sister, Debbie Koudela (Michael); his brothers, Ray Whittley (Lynn) and Bobby Whittley (Sheila).     Donald is preceded in death by his parents Mickey and Mary Lou Whittley and his two brothers Mike and David Whittley.     Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 25, from 9:30 to 11 a.m., with the memorial service to begin at 11 a.m., all in the Oaklawn Funeral Home Chapel.
