Doris Glenda Shuff Byrd

     Doris Glenda Shuff Byrd of Victoria, Tx. passed away Monday, Sept. 11, 2023

     She was born December 19, 1939 in Sweetwater, Tx., to Charles and Mildred Shuff. She was a Home Health CNA and touched many lives through her work.

     She is survived by her daughters Audy Jackson (Nicky) of Abilene, MeloDee Byrd or New Braunsfels, Robin Evans (Adam) of Victoria, and son Teddy Byrd (Novella) of Cotulla.

     She leaves seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and sisters Charlene Ragan, Margaret Joyner, and Gayle Biggerstaff.

     Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mildred Shuff, as well as paternal and maternal grandparents.

     A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Sweetwater Cemetery.

     Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Jackson County Memorial Library in Edna, Tx.
