Dorothy White

    Dorothy White, 85, passed away Feb.17, 2019. She was born Aug. 21,1933 in Edna, to Norval and Columbia Young.     She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lewis E. White, sisters, Eva Smith and Loxie Lott, and brother, Thurman Lott.     To cherish her memory she leaves a stepson, Charles White; two sisters, Lois Henson and Narvalene Tarver; nephew, Norval G. Young; nieces, Deborah Mohagheghian and Gloria Amos; and host of other relatives and friends.     Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 22, from 5-8 p.m. at Cook-Butler Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday. Feb. 23, at 11 a.m. at Robison Street Church of Christ in Edna.     Final arrangements entrusted to Cook-Butler Funeral Home, 361-782-3821.
