Earl "Leon" Childers

Eurie "Leon" Childers, 89, of Ganado, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019. He was born in Engle, Ark. on Thursday, January 2, 1930 to Eurie and Ethell Childers.     Leon is survived by his daughters Barbara Moser, Carol Wilson, (Jim), Sandy Ramirez (Donald) and Rhonda Sulak (Stanley Brosck); his 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; also his brother Onnie Plice Childers.     Leon is preceded in death by his parents, his son Travis Childers, and his three sisters Leona Thomason, Billie June and Grace Arnold.     There was a funeral service at Ganado Funeral Home on Saturday, June 22 at 10 a.m., followed by interment in Ganado City Cemetery.     Services had been entrusted to Russell Todish of Ganado Funeral Home, 361-771-2120.
