Irene Janecek

Irene Anne Mikusek Janecek, 87, passed away on January 8, 2019, Irene was born on July 26, 1931 in Fort Worth, Texas to Joseph and Emma Gerla Mikusek. Irene married the love of her life; Bill Janecek on October 14, 1952. She was a member of KJZT Society #43 and American Legion Auxiliary Unit #346. She enjoyed playing dominoes with friends, dancing, traveling to music shows in Branson, MO and Eureka Springs, AR, fishing and working in her flower beds. Irene is survived by her son; Lawrence Janecek, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband ; Bill, sisters; Mary Fillip of Sealy and Mrs. Martha Ermis of Rosenberg. Visitation will be Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 5:pm to 7:pm with Rosary being recited at 6:pm at Ganado Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 10:00 am at Assumption Catholic Church with Father Kirby Hlavaty officiating. Interment will follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be; Ronnie Crist, Jeremy Crist, Josh Gallia, Henry Sulak, Jr., David Bures, and Glenn Schneider.
