Jacqueline Kaspar
Jacqueline “Jackie” Denice Kaspar, 53, of Lufkin, passed away Sept. 1, 2017. Jackie was born Jan. 26, 1964 in Ganado, Texas to Connie Nell Bowen Kaspar and the late Frank William Kaspar. Jackie was a fun-loving, free-spirited individual. She could instantly light up a room, was quick to laugh, and had a huge heart full of love for her family and friends. She always made time to call for every birthday. Jackie had an appreciation for a good home cooked meal. She lived life simply and enjoyed fishing and bingo. She was enlisted in the Army from 1989-1997 serving in Germany and Somalia. She was employed by Dibold Correctional Facility. Jackie is survived by her mother, Connie Kaspar; sisters, Teresa Sweatman (Mel) of Boerne, Kathy Franklin (Jim) of Rosenberg, Arlene Tracy (Randy) of Argonia, Kansas; her best friend of 20 years, Paula Besich and numerous nieces and nephews. Jackie is preceded in death by her father, and brother, Frankie Dewayne Kaspar. Visitation was held Thursday, Sept. 7, from 9 to 10 a.m. A funeral service was at 10 a.m. with Rev. Gary Janak officiating. Burial with full military honors immediately followed at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers were Thomas Franklin, Cody Sweatman, Chris Williams, Jon Pape, Mark Spears and Terry Hinze. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Relay for Life.
