John Alexander Meng

     John Alexander Meng was born September 6, 1961 and passed from this life on January 24, 2022.

    John was a man with a great sense of humor and many interests. He served a combined 10 years as a former Pasadena police officer and Lago Vista police dispatcher. He published and edited two magazines in New Hampshire and was a former editor/publisher of Golfsmith Magazine and the Jackson County Herald Tribune.

    John was also a host for the Outdoor Patriot and The Daily Gadsden podcast as well as author of “Just as Dead.”

    John is survived by his wife, Rosemellie Turno Meng; children Katherine Meng and Will Meng; brother Mark Meng; and sister Donna Morin.

    He is preceded in death by his father Russell Alexander Meng; mother jessie Pearl Perry, and stepfather Otis Perry.
